will humble themselves and pray…
I know who I’m voting for. For me, it’s not so much about loving one candidate, or the fact that the economy was so much stronger under his leadership, but that one candidates ideals are at least much closer to mine than the others.
I cannot recall an election in my lifetime where the platform of the opposing team was so built on hating the opponent. I’m heartsick over the division in our country and seeing it’s decline from the trust in God on which it was founded.
A Facebook acquaintance from high school posted yesterday, “Your wife and daughters rights should mean more to you than cheaper gas”. You mean the “right” to kill your baby? your daughter wouldn’t even be here if your wife had aborted her, yet that’s the hill on which you stand? I honestly cannot comprehend. how someone could see that as a good reason to choose a candidate.
I have read the Old Testimemt and know that God allows good and bad kings to rule a nation… and His Sovereign purpose is still accomplished. I cannot predict the outcome of our election. I only know that, for me, I will be praying for the people in our country to turn their hearts to God.
I know that regardless of who is elected in the United Stated, God still reigns supreme in our Universe!
I pledge my allegiance to the King.
Be blessed,
SB
